Paul in Rome: Bringing the Gospel to the Heart of the Empire
“All roads lead to Rome.” For thirty years, Paul travelled across the Roman Empire, sharing the Gospel from city to city. Now, those same roads brought him to the empire’s capital. He came not as a guest, but as a prisoner—yet his message would outlast the empire itself. Rome impressed with its power and grandeur, but Paul’s words carried an even greater force: the glory of God in Christ.

The Roman Forum – The Pulse of the Empire
While Paul stayed in a simple rented home, the Roman Forum was full of life. People traded goods, prayed at temples, debated in public, and attended courts. It was the centre of the empire. Today, you can still walk among the ruins and feel the energy of the city Paul knew so long ago.
Mamertine Prison - From Prisoner to Witness
Tradition holds that Paul spent time in the Mamertine Prison, Rome’s oldest jail for high-profile prisoners. Dark cells remain under the church that stands there now, giving a glimpse of the harsh conditions he faced. Though the emperor tried to silence him, Paul’s letters lived on, inspiring faith and guiding people for generations.

Basilica of St. Paul Outside the Walls – Remembering Paul
Just outside the city walls stands the magnificent Basilica of St. Paul Outside the Walls, near where Paul is believed to be buried. Its size and beauty inspire awe yet feeling welcoming. Here, Paul’s life and writings continue to touch people, even thousands of years later.
