Kfar Hanokdim (The Kfar) is a green oasis shaded by palm trees and crowned with biblically inspired gardens, surrounded by the beautiful landscape of the Judean Desert. The Kfar offers its guests relaxed hospitality and the chance for a real break from the hustle and bustle of daily life.

Bedouins in Israel

The Bedouins are a group of nomadic tribes who live in Israel’s desert for hundreds of years. They trace their heritage back to the traders on the ancient Spice Route that crossed the region. Many Bedouins in Israel continue to live in traditional ways.

The Kfar Hospitality

Much design and imagination were put into creating an authentic Bedouin oasis with structures of natural stone, lamps made of salt crystals from the nearby Dead Sea, Bedouin tents made with goat’s hair and wooded furniture constructed with stone tools.

Bedouin Experience

There are warm evening bonfires and delicious Bedouin feasts of pita, hummus, chopped salad, fried eggplant, rice and roasted meats, served with the famous Bedouin tea, a unique blend of flavours from native desert plants. The ultimate experience is sleeping under the blanket of stars or the cover of a traditional Bedouin tent fitted with rugs and mattresses. Other activities include camel riding or just chilling out in a hammock in a quiet corner.
